Historic ski-to-door lodge on Mt. Hood with year-round Palmer Snowfield access
Ski & Snow Access
Timberline Lodge offers ski-to-door access to Mt. Hood's 4,540 vertical feet of terrain. It is the only ski area in the United States open ten months of the year, with public parks for summer snow sports on Palmer Snowfield. The on-site Freestyle Training Center serves all abilities and elite athletes, and the ski equipment rental and ski school operate at the lodge.

Timberline Lodge has 48 rooms with original handcrafted furnishings. This National Historic Landmark was completed in 1937 by the Works Progress Administration and offers pet-friendly rooms for guests traveling with pets. The lodge has non-smoking rooms, an elevator, and facilities for disabled guests.

The Cascade Dining Room offers fine dining with local ingredients and a commitment to sustainability. The seasonal Blue Ox Bar serves pub-style cuisine, and Ram's Head Bar specializes in casual dining. Special diet menus are available, and guests can use the on-site snack bar, bar, and sun terrace.
Location & Outdoor Access
The hotel sits inside Mt. Hood National Forest, with access to the Pacific Crest Trail and the Government Camp village. Mt.
